Vinyl Matting
We also supply PVC multipurpose mats made from hard wearing PVC extrusion. These can grip in form or flat. Various applications include anti-fatigue, safety under foot, chemical and oil resistance, and noise reduction.

Electrical Rubber Safety Matting
Applications
The Factories Acts require the provision of permanent insulation to prevent danger from shock to persons employed in the generation, transformation, distribution or use of electricity. Electrical Matting is the recommended safety flooring at switchboards, sub-stations, transformers and electrical workbenches. In temporary applications, portable mats should be used.
Service Information
If joins are unavoidable when laying Switchboard Matting, the pieces should butt together with no gaps between. Mats shall have a minimum width of 900mm to accord with the Regulations concerning the minimum width of a working platform or passageway associated with a Switchboard on which there are exposed connectors (for voltages up to 650v). Where the Regulations do not apply, the same minimum width is recommended. It is stressed that rubber mats should not afford the sole means of protection for those working on electrical circuits and wherever possible further adequate precautions should be taken against risk of shock and short circuit. In this connection, attention is drawn to the relevant Health & Safety Acts.

Looks and feels similar to fluted matting, but electrically tested in 6mm to 11000 volts and 9.5mm to 15000 volts, to BS921.
Fine Fluted Rubber Matting
Black commercial grade rubber matting has multi applications, improves safety, comfort and protects the floor. It has a fine fluted surface and a patterned back, designed to grip. Standard thicknesses are 3mm and 6mm. We can also supply Broad Rib/Raised Stud and Patterned matting to the same specifications.
