Din Couplings
Din is an acronym for Deutsches Institut fur Normung (German Institute for Standardisation). More precisely in this case Din refers to the DIN 2353 standard hose fittings that are used commonly in industrial, oil and gas and construction applications.
Din couplings are especially used for hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and are able to withstand harsh environments, keeping hoses fixed and coupled even in the presence of acid, dirt, intense heat, salt and other corrosive substances, undeterred by physical impacts or vibration.
