Type F (BSPT)

A camlock fitting – also known as a cam and groove coupling – is used for the quick and easy connection of two hoses or pipes together. Used in a wide variety of industries they require no tools to connect together so that a commodity can be transferred from one to the other.

This product is the Type F (BSPT) aluminium camlock, which has a male camlock to male BSPT thread. This type F camlock adaptor can be used with Type B, C, D or DC couplers of the same size.

Aluminium camlock fittings are favoured for their good abrasion, corrosion and chemical resistance, as well as their light weight, high tensile strength and economical cost. They can be used with suction hoses for carrying water, hydraulic fluids, coolants, petrol and powder products. 

For an optimum fit we recommend that you do not use our aluminium camlock couplings and adaptors to connect to similar products from other suppliers or manufacturers because they may be of inferior quality and not be totally compatible. It’s always best to source your cam and groove fittings from the same supplier.
