Weight Room Mat

Provincial Rubber’s weight room rubber mats are a heavy duty solution for a hefty environment. The mats have been developed as part of specialised gym equipment to be shock absorbent, protecting the under-floor from damage when weights, dumbells, barbells and other heavy equipment is dropped. On this resilient rubber weight room floor protection when weights fall they are likely to bounce rather than roll, increasing safety.

Weight room mats are made of non-porous rubber, meaning they are impervious to liquids – sweat can’t penetrate. The mats are also very effective at reducing noise levels in a busy weight room.

One surface of the weight room mat is textured, and the other side is ribbed – choose which side you use. The loose lay mats are easy to install and move if necessary, and they can be cleaned with a pressurised hose and mild detergent.

Weight room mats are 1.2 metres wide and 1.8 metres long, and are available in two thicknesses – 12mm or 17mm. For covering a large floor area you can tightly butt the edges of different mats together.
