The original workplace safety matting has stood the test of time and still remains a favourite choice for many manufacturing and industrial environments.
Made out of interwoven vinyl strips (woven instead of welded to give better flexibility and lower breakage risk), the ProMat Light matting gives good grip with its cross-ribbed surface to prevent slipping. It is fully reversible, and loose lay, so when it begins to wear on one side, flip it over and it looks like new again.
The woven design provides for holes which trap swarf and debris, and the matting can be used in wet or dry areas. The PVC vinyl is resistant to oil and grease if kept clean with a pressure hose and mild detergent. It can also cope with many chemicals, alkalis, alcohols, and strong mineral acids.
